Current Versions/Years Available
The most recent dataset we received is the August 2004 Basic Economics (rec. 9/1/04) files in Excel 2003 format. This includes the annual, monthly, and quarterly XLS files.

In addition, we also have the Oct 2003 disk (rec. 11/21/03), with data also in .xls format.

Overview of the Data
Global Insight database provides data on macroeconomic variables such as national income accounts, balance of payments, foreign debt, exchange rates, money supply and employment - among other national level categories. It also provides data on the IMF series and the OCDE series.

Our Subscription
The finance department currently subscribes.

How to Access This Data
The excel files are contained on CD-ROMs which are held by the Finance Department Data Czar. If you would like to look at this data, he can get you access to it. Email him at: brough@email.arizona.edu.
